Safe Sleepwear

Sleep. Five little letters. One really big deal.

When new parents lose 44 days of sleep in the first year alone, you’ll do anything to help your baby sleep.

You’ll go to extraordinary lengths. Do ridiculous things. All so they can sleep a little safer, for a little longer.

Cosy, safe and settled

Let’s face it, your chance of a good night’s sleep rests on your little one being cozy, safe, and settled for as long as possible. From swaddling to baby wearable blankets, and a clever color-changing thermometer and nightlight, we’ve got you covered.

Anything for a quiet night

We’ve been making baby products for more than 50 years,

So we’ve heard a lot about sleepless nights from parents. In December 2017 the Gro Company became part of the Tommee Tippee family, allowing us to introduce many new sleep products to customers across the globe.

The Grobag started the baby sleep bag revolution back in 2000 as a result of Rob and Ouvrielle Holmes’ struggle to get their first son Sam to sleep at night. An Austrian sister-in-law introduced them to baby sleep bags, and after the amazing 12 hour sleep as a result, Grobag was born.

Since then, Grobags have changed the way that moms and dads put their babies to bed and continue to create products that genuinely make parenting easier.

A safer alternative to loose sheets and blankets

All our baby sleepwear is designed to keep your baby sleeping soundly, no matter how much they wriggle about during the night. Made from super-soft cotton-rich fabric, with accurate tog ratings and an easy two-way zip opening for speedy night-time diaper changes, you can relax knowing your baby will enjoy a safe and comfortable sleep, with no loose sheets to get caught in or kick off during the night.

Sleepwear that grows with your baby

3-in-1 transition from swaddle to sleepbag

...keep your baby comfortable and at a safe temperature, with no more kicking off blankets. We’re here with you at every stage of your safe sleep journey.

Babies sleep longer

Our cozy newborn Sleepee Snuggees swaddle newborn babies so that they feel safe and secure, just like when they were in mommy’s tummy. Swaddling wraps baby up with their arms close to their chest and helps reduce the startle reflex (Moro reflex) so they sleep soundly.

As baby grows, they may want to stretch out a little more, so our Snuggee helps you make that transition by allowing you to choose whether they sleep with their arms in or out, or even one in and one out!

All our sleepwear allows a hip-healthy leg position and comes with easy zip access to make night-time diaper changes a breeze.

Always put your baby down to sleep on their back

Keep their bed clear

Make sure their bed is firm and flat

Keep their environment smoke-free

How many Sleepbags do I need?

When you’re stocking up on Sleepbags for your little one, there are a number of things you need to think about.

Do you have the right size for your baby? Do you have Tog ratings suitable for weather changes? Do you have spares for when your little one’s favourite is in the wash?

We’d say around 3 Sleepbags is preferable - wash, wear, spare is generally a good rule of thumb! But hey, you might want to stock up on some different designs, and to that we say… the more the merrier!

Why not get started on our money-saving multi-packs. They come in a variety of Tog ratings for winter or summer babies and have a bunch of adorable designs to choose from…
