TOMMEE TIPPEE ELECTRIC BREAST PUMP LIMITED WARRANTY IN THE UNITED STATES


Tommee Tippee warrants that its Electric Breast Pump Products will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year after the date of purchase ("Standard Warranty") and for an additional one year warranty upon registration of the Product with Tommee Tippee ("Extended Warranty"). In addition, the Standard Warranty extends to the components (i.e. diaphragm, horn, air tube and valve) within the Electric Breast Pump Products for a period of 90 days after the date of purchase. The Standard Warranty and the Extended Warranty are collectively referred to herein as the "Warranty"). The failure to register your Product does not diminish your rights under the Standard Warranty.

Because Tommee Tipppe cannot control the quality of products sold by unauthorized sellers, this warranty applies only to Products that were purchased from Tommee Tippee or one of our authorized seller in the United States, unless otherwise prohibited by law. Tommee Tippee reserves the right to reject warranty claims from purchasers for Products purchased from unauthorized sellers, including unauthorized internet sites.

Warranty Terms and Conditions

  1. The Warranty is limited to the original, end user purchaser.
  2. Purchasers of Products who wish to make a warranty claim based upon a Product defect should call us toll free on 1-800-715-9526 (lines are open 08.00am and 19.00pm EST Monday to Friday) and have information available regarding where and when you purchased your Product.
  3. If your claim is approved, you will then need to mail in your Product, a proof of purchase, and your warranty approval number. Please note that you are responsible for costs incurred in mailing your Product and proof of purchase.
  4. Tommee Tippee will repair or replace, in its discretion, a defective Product that is covered by this Warranty at its expense.
  5. The personal data you provide when making your warranty claim will be used solely to process your warranty claim, unless you have separately opted to receive marketing emails in addition to registering for the Extended Warranty.
  6. The terms of the Standard Warranty and the Extended Warranty may be amended by Tommee Tippee at any time.
  7. If any of these terms and conditions are ruled invalid by any court having competent jurisdiction, the invalidity of such provision shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions, which shall remain in full force and effect.
  8. The Warranty does not cover Product parts that are subject to wear and tear, or that can be considered by their nature as consumable parts.
  9. The Warranty does not cover defects or damage caused by incorrect use or poor maintenance, negligence, or if alterations or repairs have been carried out by persons not authorized by Tommee Tippee.
  10. This appliance is intended for household use only. The Warranty is not valid if the Product is used for professional or semi-professional purposes.
  11. The Warranty is only valid if the Product is used strictly in accordance with the instruction leaflet.

THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES WHICH EXTEND BEYOND THOSE STATED HEREIN. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES THAT MAY BE APPLICABLE TO PRODUCTS, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THIS WARRANTY. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL TOMMEE TIPPEE BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES BASED UPON BREACH OF THIS WARRANTY, BREACH OF CONTRACT OR STRICT LIABILITY. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.
