Every living thing is integral to the survival of our planet, so we need to look after every plant, animal and mineral with the same care and attention we give to our babies.
We’re committed to protecting and preserving the natural resources our babies can’t live without.
We’ve already made a start in launching new product lines made using innovative methods and sustainable materials, such as our twist and click nappy disposal system (linked) made with 98% recycled material.
As we increase our use of sustainable materials in products and packaging by 10% every year, we’ll reducing our use of fossil fuel resources and close the loop on making Tommee Tippee a 100% renewable business.
We’ll also help our partners do their bit to protect life on land, working with them to source sustainable materials to use within the products and services they provide us
The work we do is made stronger when we combine efforts with others across the world. We’ll continuously look for opportunities to work with larger global initiatives such as Responsible Forestry Management so that we maximise the positive impact we can have on the planet.
The human impact of today and generations past has caused great damage to the world. But the power of reversing it lies within people, too.
We’re committed to ensuring our world is as healthy and thriving as the babies who will grow up in it, so we’re setting out a plan to reduce the impact we have on the planet.
We’ve already made a start in bringing renewable energy and zero-to-landfill systems to all UK manufacturing facilities and are on our way to continuing to reduce our planetary impact across every area of our business in the UK and across the world.
The next nine years will see us cut our global electricity usage by 10% year on year, make 100% of our equipment and machinery energy efficient, and eliminate the use of harmful chemicals across all of our manufacturing processes.
As we reduce our total global waste by 50% by 2025, we’re ramping up our recycling, ensuring every element of our business is zero to landfill by our 2030 goal.
To protect the climate of tomorrow, we need to act today so babies of the future will have a safe world to grow up in.
We’re committed to looking after the wellbeing of babies, but in order to do this, we need to ensure that the climate they will grow up in brings them health instead of harm.
We’ve already made a start in reducing our global carbon footprint by 4.6% in 2019 through cutting carbon emissions across the business. We’ll continue to do this as we introduce further initiatives to reduce emissions and offset carbon wherever and whenever we can.
We’ll continue to reduce our carbon footprint as evolve our product ranges, reducing the footprint of each new product by 10% and ensuring the packaging they come in is 100% recyclable.
We’re creating ways for you to join us on our journey too, with product return initiatives and recycling schemes that so you can reduce your carbon footprint too.
The life of our rivers, seas and oceans is rapidly declining as a result of the impact of humans on the planet.
We’re committed to cleaning up the world’s waters so our babies can enjoy them. Just like we did.

We’ve made it a priority to CLEAN up the world’s waters by removing all single-use plastics from everything we do.
Our programmes of volunteering initiatives will. We’ve already made a start in cutting back our plastic usage by removing 281 tonnes of single use plastic from our product packaging in 2020 alone.
By next year we’ll have almost doubled this reduction by removing a further 450 tonnes from our packaging as we aim towards eliminating all single use plastics from all of our products by 2025.
By continuously collaborating with our partners and suppliers we’ll also work to remove single use plastics from our supply chain so we can limit the impact we have on the world’s waters at every stage of our production process.
Protecting the life of our oceans means getting out there and getting stuck in. Our programmes of volunteering initiatives will will see us clean-up beaches across the world as we continue to protect and preserve them for future generations.
Brighter Futures stands as our promise to build a better world for our babies, and we’re creating many different ways for you to join us in our journey towards making it happen.
From product return initiatives and recycling schemes to volunteer programmes or simply providing you with more sustainable product options, we’re committed to ensuring there are many ways for you to have a positive impact on our future world with us.
