When new parents lose 44 days of sleep in the first year alone, you’ll do anything to help your baby sleep.
You’ll go to extraordinary lengths. Do ridiculous things. All so they can sleep a little safer, for a little longer.
Let’s face it, your chance of a good night’s sleep rests on your little one being cosy, safe, and settled for as long as possible. From swaddling to baby sleepbags, and a clever colour changing thermometer and nightlight, we’ve got you covered.
So we’ve heard a lot about sleepless nights from parents. In December 2017 the Gro Company became part of the Tommee Tippee family, allowing us to introduce many new sleep products to customers across the globe.
The Grobag started the baby sleepbag revolution back in 2000 as a result of Rob and Ouvrielle Holmes’ struggle to get their first son Sam to sleep at night. An Austrian sister-in-law introduced them to baby sleep bags, and after the amazing 12 hour sleep as a result, Grobag was born.
Since then, Grobags have changed the way that mums and dads put their babies to bed and continue to create products that genuinely make parenting easier.
Swaddling is proven to improve quality of sleep in young babies. Young babies love to feel all snug and secure, just like when they were in mummy’s tummy; the wrapped fabric mimics the closeness of the womb and suppresses the startle reflex meaning baby (and mum and dad) will get more sleep.
The International Hip Dysplasia Institute (IHDI) acknowledges the Swaddle as a ‘hip-healthy’ product when used as directed. The Groswaddle has a clever pocket to ensure that legs are in a natural frog-legged position that is important for correct hip development.
The Snuggle enables you to swaddle arms in or out so your baby is all set for a great night’s sleep, it also makes it perfect for transitioning your baby in to their first Grobag. Extremely easy to use with no folding needed and a long zip that opens from the bottom, eliminating frustrations of unwrapping baby and disturbing them during night changes.
...keep your baby comfortable and at a safe temperature, with no more kicking off blankets. We’re here with you at every stage of your safe sleep journey.
Our cosy newborn swaddles help newborn babies feel safe, snug and secure, just like when they were in mummy’s tummy. Wrapping them up with their arms close to their chest helps reduce the startle reflex (Moro reflex) so they sleep soundly.
As baby grows our snuggle helps you transition baby from a swaddle into a Grobag sleepbag, by allowing you to choose whether they sleep with their arms in or out, or even one in and one out!
All our sleepwear allows a hip healthy leg position and comes with easy zip access to make night-time nappy changes a breeze.
We know it can be a scary time when you have your baby, there’s so much to learn and so much to worry about. Sleep is important for everyone so here are some tips to keep your little one safe at night.
Always put your baby down to sleep on their back
Keep their bed clear
Make sure their bed is firm and flat
Keep their environment smoke-free
Never sleep with your baby on a sofa or armchair
Room-share with your newborn, day and night
Keep their room temperature between 16°C and 20°C (62°F to 68°F) - our Groegg can help you monitor this
Don’t use sheets, blankets, quilts, duvets, pillows or other covers until your baby is +12m.
The colours coordinate with the colour codes on our sleepwear to help you decide what to dress your little one in at night.

Do you have the right size for your baby? Do you have Tog ratings suitable for weather changes? Do you have spares for when your little one’s favourite is in the wash?
We’d say around 3 sleepbags is preferable - wash, wear, spare is generally a good rule of thumb! But hey, you might want to stock up on some different designs, and to that we say… the more the merrier!
Why not get started on our money-saving multi-packs. They come in a variety of Tog ratings for winter or summer babies and have a bunch of adorable designs to choose from…
