I bought the gro egg over a month ago but held off writing a review because of not so great reviews I have read and it becoming faulty or not working. So far ours work great and it gives the same reading as our Hive thermostat.

The gro egg is an amazing invention. I always worry what to dress my little man in at bedtime and the egg puts my mind at ease as it accurately records the temperature and the additional light up function helps to reiterate the temperature of the room in case you miss the actual reading. as a first time mum it’s a definitely must have item to help keep baby safe and secure and dressing in the appropriate clothing.

We bought this as the weather changes and gets warmer so we know what layers and what tog growbag to put on our baby! Great feature having the colour change at night you can see what the temperature is. Wish we had it sooner makes us feel more reassured baby is in the right layers! Only downside is the USB connection but with a new plug we bought easy enough to sort out. Definitely a purchase I can reccomend and will buy for friends.

we recieced the egg to test out and we love it. Having always used a old light. We can now have a lovley glow in the corner of the room. Perfect for winding down our girl before bed but also handy if nappy needs changing during the night. We have also noticed that our 2year old has sletp through the night since having it in the room.

I got this product a week ago and its brilliant plugs into a charger plug brilliant night light feature and perfect to make sure room is not to hot or to cold especially being summer I get so worried my baby will overheat and room is so stuffy this product just helps my to be reassured that the room temperature is ok I think its brilliant and night light is perfect for midnight wake up calls from your little people

Having had the original grow egg I couldn't wait to try the gro egg 2, we have twin boys who are 22 months old so we rely on the gro egg so much, its very sleek, accurate, great display, we love it!! Especially with it being the summer months this is a much have buy!

Got the new gro egg and it’s fab! Had the old one and this one is so much better! Lovely display on it easy to read temp of the room and with the colour changing glow super easy to check on the temp of the room without disturbing baby! Couldn’t be without mine can’t recommend it enough!

I have no idea how I have lasted so long without this product, my little girl loves it as a night light and the temperature display helps me too as my little girl prefers to be a little cooler but wakes up if she gets too cold or too hot so I love this product as it helps me to stay ahead of her!

Temperature reading is extremely bright and is distracting whilst trying to sleep, especially when the temp changes. Night light itself is fine but expected a touch on / touch off feature for the money paid.

The Gro Egg2 comes well packaged and with enough information on how to use it. I was hesitant to get this at first due to previous reviews from friends and online reviews that said that it was a "judgy egg" but I'm so glad I ignored them. You can adjust the light in four settings (bright, medium, low, off) which shows off a different colour depending on the temperature of the room. The light is currently on the setting off but I know it will prove a really easy way to gage what the temperature is in the room and then readjusting what clothing to put baby in for bedtime. Personally, I think this is a great product and can even be used as a night light as well if you're on a budget! I would recommend it and would say to anyone who is worried about the room temperature to not be as this product will just help you identify what clothing to put on little one when putting them to bed.

I initially bought the TT star shaped room thermometer and while it was accurate it was a bit of a hassle to use for monitoring the room - constantly had to tap it to see the temperature. It got really frustrating. I think ill reserve it for the bath. This GroEgg beauty however is excellent!! I love how it changes colour according to temp (red if its too hot). Especially useful if youve woken overnight and you can just glance over and either rest reassured OR move to sort the temperature out. Ive used it to test all the rooms and am making adjustments before the baby comes! Love love love it!

I have one of these at our house and the other is at my grandson's home. It gives me peace of mind that the room in which he sleeps is the right temperature for him in his sleep suit. It is extremely easy to use, giving a visual display of the temperature in digital form and light colour. Its soft glow acts as a reassuring night light.

Absolutely love it and find the room temp guide most useful. Definitely a nursery essential. But 2 things: - I find the light switch located at the bottom not the most convenient (I tend to keep lights off to keep room dark) what about a touch/tap dome on off? - would be even better if there’s an app/ WiFi connectivity to read the temperature because I have sometimes woken my little one up going into the room to check on the temp reading

I love this little light. It’s a lovey glow and the fact it tells you the correct tog to have for safe sleeping is amazing. I tend to use it around the house to check the temperatures of each room as it’s easily portable and quick to plug in.
